I guess I'm not the only one that appreciates what School-Live! pulled off with the first episode:

"As you know, the main purpose of producing a TV anime adaptation is to push the sales of its source material: manga, light novel, social game, etc. This summer's TV anime adaptation of Gakkou Gurashi!/School-Live! moe-survival manga has become the best example of the business strategy.

According to the July 18 report by Hon no Hikidashi, the official news site owned by Nippan/Nippon Shuppan Hanbai, one of the biggest book distributors in Japan, the sales of the based manga's first volume in the week of July 6-12 increased about 10 times more than the previous week of June 29 to July 5. The anime's first episode has already been viewed over 1.5 million times on Nico Nico Douga. It has worked as a very good promotional tool for the publisher."

I enjoyed episode two as well, and it looks like the show is just going to keep on keeping me hooked. This is one of the only ones I'm actually looking forward to each week at this point. Most of the rest I'm just watching while still trying to figure out how much I actually like it.

-------------------

That all aside, I think I'm going to drop Overlord and Chaos Dragon. Neither are keeping me hooked, and I'd rather spend my time watching something else. I tried 12 minutes or so of the first episode of Charlotte, and it just sucked. I cringed too much to bother going back. I'm still unsure about Gangsta as well. I need to watch episode three and see just how much I like the show. The fight in episode two was pretty great, so I imagine I just need a couple more episodes to be hooked. At worst I get through it just being only somewhat interested.

Everything else I've tried I think I'm going to stick with for the time being. Still a few other things to try, but I'm taking it a little slow this season.
