The money has been spent, the game has been made, it would be wise of NOA to just put it on the eshop (shouldn't be that expensive to do) so as to please the few that like it instead of just ignoring the investment made

eshop maybe, but you do not know how much they have or still need to put into it.  Correct me if I am wrong, but none of us know its progress.

 

Even if it was done marketing and distribution take up a massive chunk of  change.  Some times it is just best (Or not lol) to cut your losses.
