As for Devils third, people aren't jumping on the hate bandwagon blindly. Actual gameplay was shown at e3, poor graphics were shown on all videos, and reviewers are hating the game (giving their reasons as to why). People are using information shown by Nintendos trailers. Even if the game is funner to play in person, Nintendo did a very poor job of showing it. Making an educated assumption based on presented information is better than spending $60 to confirm something that seems obvious (especially when other reviewers have done that for you).

yes, making a game is very hard and difficult, but if they want to give it a full retail price like every other major game developer, then they need to suck it up and make it work well. No one should get a free pass on making a quality full priced game.

on Federation Force, there are people who bashes it off for its gameplay with the attachment of the Metroid Prime. the overall poor presentation of Federation Force from E3 itself then adding the word Metroid into the game really pushed people to dislike it

so they are reviewing the game based on a demo or they have a copy of the game? or just reviewing the trailers? not all the articles mentioned if they played the game or so. 

i'll post a preview from NintendoWorldReport and the author's opinion says 'The single-player of Itagaki's latest is a drab, shallow adventure.'

Let's be honest, federation force got a bad rep for having metroid in the title. If nintendo made a rocket league clone for the 3ds and called it f zero sports, people would also have a meltdown regardless of the gameplay. And rightfully so since Nintendo is pursuing small spin off titles in place of large fan requested games. Bethesda also said that if they announced fallout shelter and no fallout 4, people would also be angry at them. This isn't people being hateful to Nintendo, this is just Nintendo ignoring its fans.

I don't know if reviewers had the game or not, it's not that far from release so it wouldn't surprise me if they do have copies. However the main point is that you don't actually have to buy every title to make educated assumptions on them (e.g. If I say that Devils third's gameplay looks like a ripoff of cod, I can point to the gameplay trailers to support that). That's not me being hateful, that's me giving an opinion based on what was shown, and if Nintendo what to change that, they better release a trailer that shows the game in a far better state
