I like Batman, I liked the Burton and Nolan Batman films (not so much Schumacher) so honestly I wasn't waiting anxiously to see another one.  I would probably be more excited if a stand alone Batman with Affleck was great, but right now no idea how he'll be.

The main issue is I was not crazy about Man of Steel in regards to its interpretation of DCs world and Superman.  Added to that this feels like too much too quickly throwing in other heroes such as Wonder Woman and Aquaman before we know much about them.  With all these heroes who is the villain? Do they just fight each other, because that doesn't really appeal to me.

I will see it simply because I enjoy comics and the characters, just not crazy about the direction I am seeing.

Oh no, multiple characters in a movie... like X-Men or Guardians of the Galaxy or Civil War. Sorry but you sound like a Marvel fanboy.

So everyone who's not as excited as you (and you only mentioned concepts nothing about the direction or why you're excited apart from basic ideas) is a Marvel fanboy.  This is why we can't have nice discussions.  Generalizations and painting people as extremists and fanboys gets more rampant every day.  I even said to someone all these things I loved about the trailer then I criticized Eisenberg and they said I was a Marvel fanboy.  It's like all the positives I had been saying flew out the window as soon as one negative crept in.  Apparently you have to think every DC movie is absolutely perfect before ever seeing it in order to not be a Marvel fanboy.

I am Iron Man
