i just hope Nintendo as a whole would look at how to gain the western market more. They know what Japanese gamers want. But in order to get better sales or win back gamers from the western market, they need to learn from their mistakes.

As I've mentioned on other threads, Iwata is fully dedicated to Nintendo even he has illness, he remained to be part of Nintendo rather than walk away. That is true dedication to the company. For him, leaving Nintendo, the successor would still be on those ranks - Miyamoto, Takeda, etc... the vision of the company would still be the same with i hope altering a bit to gain the western market back.

they already knew what is happening, western market - home consoles with good PC specs, open world RPG, FPS, etc... plus all their established IPs. Japanese market - handheld, and they knew the formula anyway just add more 3rd party involvement that would be great.

There were some members here about Iwata should walk away, but walking away won't resolve nintendo's problem. they need to enhance their vision for the bigger market.

RIP Iwata-san, i know you've already told the group what is needed and still create games for fun to everyone.
