i think it was obvious to everyone that Nintendo needed some new management and Iwata needed to step down for a few years now. None of us ever wanted this to happen to him though. This was sudden and nobody saw it coming. Even thinking about it now, it is terribly sad that he died, but Nintendo is going to do just fine without him.
