How was this suit put together?  Telekenesis? Superman isn't omnipresent, nor is he omniscient.

Super hearing, doesn't really mean omniscient.  You'd still have thought that eluded your awareness.  And while he can move real fast-like, he's never been omnipresent (he is not Dr. Manhattan).

The point is, he can still hear really well (heard his mother yell from half way around the country, right?)  So, if someone's talking about Krypton, it's entirely possible he'd hear that.  So, I don't see how it's unreasonable to suggest that Superman could hear Batman ask Lucious to incorporate Kryptonite into his armor and do something pro-active like.
