where were you when the whole internet became butthurt over this photo?

I will never understand fanboys and their feelings.

It's actually probably an issue of lack of empathy.   To put it simply, you grow up with characters, and plots written out, and when tech finally catches up to be able to produce said characters and plots on-screen (that you've waited years, upon years to see), they go off-script to avoid paying royalties.

Not saying you have to care, but it should be abundantly clear that 'fanboys' have grown up immersed in the genre, and the story.  Many of them know every in and out of these characters, and to see it butchered, just to avoid royalties does tend to piss people off.

And whether you want to give them credit or not, without those 'fanboys', these comics would never have made it to the big screen.

oh I've done my research and I think these 'fanboys' over fucking reacted...
