They're all Mario spin offs, and he included Zelda spin offs in the Zelda list. So it's technically fair.
And to be fair to Zelda, most of its recent games have been remakes. Mario gets a ton of new games all the time. If we count only non remakes and ports, Mario vastly outweighs Zelda in games released.
