And if it does, traditional games will most likely flop on it just as they did the Wii U.

The way I can see this working is if they manage to reach a strong userbase in a short space of time (combine  the handheld and console), third parties may make cheap exclusives for it that just as they did the Wii and capitalise off that market.


If Nintendo doesn't make their next home console as powerful as the competition, they will fall... period. I hope for their sake, and my own (Nintendo fan since 1986) that they rethink this epic blunder. There IS no Wii 2 situation. They will either compete, or die.
