Or special windows funktions buildt into hardware on the CPU, makeing intel suddenly not look as great a option. Suddenly everything windows related would run fantastic on AMD, and for some reason... no one knows... everything not AMD would be horribly optimised and have random crashes ect :p |
Windows was always open in terms of hardware and there is too much of a market for NVIDIA so MS can't just lock them out. This is not how business works, all want to make money, as much as possible.
