I understand, from a consumer point of you, why you would want things to happen (and in a large part they will, just slower), but from Japan centric point of view, the PS4 is doing barely better than its home console competitor (wii u), and is doing really horrible when compared gaming centric comptitor (3DS), and in the end that still doesn't change the fact mobiles are becoming even bigger than those markets.

It is really funny that the Wii U is even competition to something like PS4 in any market.

Mobile gaming is only a trend it could collapse like atari did in the 70s. Eventually people get sick about microtransactions, many bad games and the controls.

I don't think so, Atari and Mobiles are two different situations, but I rather not argue that (I need to run soon, or I might have considered it). My main argument is that right now Mobiles > Nintendo > Sony in terms of software and hardware in Japan currently, and it doesn't seem to change that dramatically in the near future. Maybe next year, Sony will be ahead of Nintendo for that whole year, but at the same time that could easily turn around the following year.

(Anyways need to run, have fun)
