Can Splatoon sell 1 million lifetime in Japan?

Oh, I get that, believe me. I just wanted to point out that technically Splatoon isn't doing better in terms of totals. In terms of legs, it is outperforming MK8 though.

800k-1m seems possible to me. It's funny that just a few months ago, many believed that that could be the WW LT sales of the game.

Well yeah Mario Kart 8 has been out since last year.

 

During the same timeframe though, Splatoon is selling better than Mario Kart 8.
