I think you guys are going to be massively disappointed.
Nintendo pretty much admitted the Wii U won't be getting a Metroid Prime or Animal Crossing game (it's getting that Amiibo spin-off instead).
I also am starting to hedge on things like a Paper Mario U. I guess that could happen, but I'm starting to feel like Nintendo has realized NX is make or break for them and they must have all the big IP they can in its launch window.
I think maybe Mario Tennis slides into 2016, Zelda becomes a NX + Wii U release, SMT x Fire Emblem, Pokken Fighters, and maybe things like a new Kirby game and a new Mario Party for 2016. Stuff like that.
Even if we operate under the assumption that the NX cannot launch 5 years until after the Wii U or the universe will cease to exist ... it's summer 2015 already. Games take 2 years on average to make.
They have to start focusing on NX software development now.
And yes it was the same with the GameCube and Wii, after their 4th year on market, game development for both started to wind down.
