Prediction: They'll put Mario skins in Splatoon, and it will ruin it

I wouldn't mind a Sunshine stage, but yeah I'm starting to feel like Mario in Splatoon is unnecessary.

It's selling very well in Japan at the very least, so it doesn't really need Mario.
