I plan on getting a Wii U for my son (and me) in the very near future and we share NONE of the same worries. My biggest thing is the backlog is already more than enough to keep me busy for a long while. Especially since my main gaming comes from PS4/Handhelds. Not only that, the announced yet to be released list of games will definitely whet my appetite when the time comes. I honestly share none of your concern. and isn't it backwards compatible? How are you ignoring this entirely? Gotta be some amazing Wii titles you never had a chance to play, and now you do..

Oh and one last thing... The price isn't anything to break the bank. If you're investing in a console and you're a gamer, obviously you can afford it. If you don't think the Wii U is worth the price of admission for all of the content you're getting... gaming might not be your thing ;p
