I don't know how much money is spent in localizing a game, specially a huge one like DQVII... but judging from the sales of DQIX and IV-VI DS remakes, it seems that VII on 3DS would sell enough to make a profit. It's just a guess though.
I couldn't care less about DQVIII 3DS, as I really don't see the point of a demake. It should be an HD remaster, but oh well.
