Taking each of the list of things that Nintendo apparently said wasn't big in order: 1) When did Nintendo ever say third party support wasn't important 2) Yep, they got that wrong. 3) Graphics - except for the fact that PS2 and Wii won their respective generations so oops. 4) Do you have any proof that DVD/Blu-ray playback is massively important. Wii didn't think so. 5) I don't recall Nintendo ever saying that online multiplayer wasn't big or important.
So basically, yes, I'm feeding the troll. |
The Wii defenitly didn´t try to do serious online multiplayer, now did it. The PS3 sold quite a few units early thanks to their blu ray player ad it made a more appealing system it helped PS2 with dvd playback too.
Even though the PS2 was weak games as God of War 2 is one of the best looking 6th gen games, as for the Wii U which is supposed to be more powerful I am still waiting for that game which tops God of War 2. The Wii was the Wii but where the PS2 could have a long lifespan due to having enough power to get third parties and compete with the competition Wii was almost dried out within 4 years.
Perhaps Nintendo doesn´t say out loud that third parties can go **** themselves but they surely don't make their system apealing since Wii.
Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
