I don't consider it real VR. When VR comes out, it'll be big. But as it stands, it doesn't exist.

I don't think you know what VR is.... don't worry, I can help you out! V-R stands for "Virtual Reality". So with that new knowledge, you can now see that VR is out next year with loads of games ready to go.

You're welcome!

Watch who you're talking to. Anyway, reality is defined as "the world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them." or "the state or quality of having existence or substance.". As it stands, VR tech like Oculus or Morpheus don't truly accomplish those. When I wear a VR headset I don't believe what I'm seeing exists nor am I any more immersed in the world. Instead, I just have full camera movement with my head -which is more limiting than analogue sticks. The concept itself suffers from many many many issues that prevent this technique towards VR to evolve into something bigger. VR this way would involve the awkward 8 way treadmill I've seen some people use among other things. It's too clunky and people are buying into a dead end road. It's a glorified Chuck-E-Cheese game helmet. Nothing more, nothing less.
