I'm not a very competitive player but my favorite and main is Link because I'm a huge Zelda and Smash fan. Stuck with Link since Melee thanks to his OP spin attack and d-air back then. Unfortunately his Spin attack has been nerfed since Brawl along with his d-air attack in Smash 4 (I don't want to meteor smash damn it!) but I still I like his projectile specials. I also like that his forward and up strong attacks are much better KO moves since Brawl and seem even stronger and faster in Smash 4.
Not a big fan of his dash attack even though it's a fun homage to his jump attack. Can't hit foes that are getting up/standing up from the ground like Brawl's and its hit window is pretty small coupled with a long recovery frame from it. Brawl's dash attack was much weaker, but easier to hit with and a better combo starter.
