Opted out of a traditional E3, then.
Should have been more clear. It was clear that they changed their focus and wanted to do their own thing, this is also around the time they started with their ND and put more emphasis on that rather than the bigger gaming conventions. This was partly due to their thinking that they received unfair and somewhat biased press coverage (which is/was also partly true).
