Has 'Gaming' got better or worse since 2006-2008 era?

Oh come on, Journey the 2 hour walking sim can't possibly surpass anything. Yes the co-op was interesting idea but that about it.

I disagree, Journey was rather incredible. I'm not saying it's the best game of all time, but I consider it a game in the vein of SotC and Ico, and I think Journey surpassed those.
