Can Splatoon sell 500K first week worldwide?

To be 300k, it would need to sell no more thab 110k outside Japan..  We already got 20k from the UK alone of Europe.  So you are saying rest of Europe+NA+RoW will be 90k?  While simultaneously being top 5 on amazon and high ranking at Best Buy and Walmart for the entire first week in the US?  

Splatoon strikes me as a game which will have more appeal in Japan than in the West; it meshes so well with the anime/aidoru culture. Heck, Inkopolis is basically Shibuya. 

To adjust for my innate skepticism, make it 350k then.
