Maybe you forget that the first week, at least in Japan, Splatoon sell equal to BloodBorne. and only because the undershipment, if not, it should probabily outsell BloodBorne by a decent margin. Who know, maybe 20k, maybe 50k... and don't say "even BloodBorne was undershiped"

BloodBorne sold some like 87% of the total shipment first week.

Splatoon sold 97% of the total shipment.

Not even close.

So, we only expect to see how will sell Splatoon in the rest of world. If will sell at BloodBorne level, or maybe a little under like in Japan... nope, absolutely no way for BloodBorne sell more lifetime.

Nintendo games legs >>>>>>>>>>> Sony games legs. Even if we don't talk about Mario.

In UK Bloodborne sold over twice as much as Splatoon in its FW. So Japan doesn't say much. In fact, the tentacle stuff in this game probably made it more appealing to Japanese, but it wouldn't have the same effect in the rest of the world. Japan also happens to be Nintendo's strongest territory, and the only territory in the world where Wii U has a larger userbase than PS4.

Btw you're last statement is just wrong. Gran Turismo and Uncharted have better legs than the majority of Nintendo games.

You can't use UK for a comparation. UK is the worst Ninty market.

Is like say that Splatoon outsold Titanfall by 7:1 first week in Japan, the worst XBOX market, but who will sell more first week globally? we already know...

And how sold BloodBorne in UK FW? 40,000. In Japan? 150,000. Japan is way bigger than UK, the gap between Splatoon and BloodBorne can easy close if Splatoon will sell very good in the US. (the most important market)

And not, Japan IS NOT the Nintendo stronger territory, but is a fact that is the US. even France is strong for Ninty, and i bet Splatoon > BloodBorne FW in France.
