There is a huge difference. Splatoon sold out practically everywhere (especially since it had the highest sellthrough FW of all time in japan)
That said if it ends up 20k-30k, it'll be because of supply restraint. Hopefully Nintendo can ship 70k-100k secod week, if not digital will only continue to grow. Its hinted that splatoon's digital sales are already currently over 43k at least, which would put the game close to 200k without 2nd week's retail sales :)
