Is Studio Ghibli going on a hiatus? And which films of theirs are your favorites?

It's not so much "on hiatus" as "dead" isn't it? Pretty sure they confirmed no more films.

Also either my neighbour totoro or howls moving castle. Both classics in my eyes, as are a lot of their films.
