I was surprised and relieved when I heard that Splatoon seems to function really well online, too many online games have huge issues at launch. I can tell you the game is very fun and addicting even the way it was on launch. Hell, even in testfire state with no customisation/2 maps you could spend a lot of hours in game if Nintendo alllow it. Cause its pure fun.
