The point is to keep interest, you don't wait until it starts falling. Doing something is obviously better for maintaining than doing nothing. They have plenty of updates loaded up so no reason not to start earlier than expected surprising and hyping people up. Four days after launch when it was clearly good to go with the game from release; yes, that's utterly meaningless. Don't make it something it's not. Content does not annoy me, the way it is delivered and withheld in this case, does, that's a huge difference.

And, no, I'm probably far from the only person who would be annoyed by that. And the whole pro-active stance is fine, but 4 days shows that that's not what this is about, this is like me throwing out a customer from a bar when he just paid for his first beer, in case he gets drunk.
The argument simply doesn't work and your insistence on applying rather underhanded tactics against my posts shows that you've probably realized this somewhere down the line.

PS: I think that "most people" actually see it the way I do, if opinions on this forum is anything to go by. A few weeks or a month; cool, more stuff! 4 days? Why on earth was this not available to me right away?

As someone who plays Splatoon since last Thursday on a daily basis I can only tell you: I couldnt care less and absolutely do not understand your complaints. Why do you feel entitled to talk about the feelings of the people playing the game if you obviously are not part of that group?
