Why do Zelda Console games take 5 years to develop.... ?

As others have already said, it's coming in 2016 or later. Plus they have canceled all other showings of the game. The only reason they would do both of those things is because it has moved to their next platform; that explains the huge delay and the fact that they don't want to reveal the new graphical upgrades and features just yet. Both Zelda and NX are going to be unveiled next year at the same time, probably in an early 2016 show.
