Rare WAS a pretty good developer but they lost their way and so they were sold off. Back in the SNES and N64 days these guys were untouchable. Last gen was a write off for them and it's looking like this gen is also mostly a write off for them. So I hardly see any reason why Nintendo should have kept them. They aren't the same as they were and as others have stated they lost most of all their good developers.
Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
