People will laugh, but I believe. I think that the first month will show over a million in sales. It already is at a nice price in EU, and it would have been wise if NOA did the same thing. That will be its biggest barrier. Yes I prepurchased, but after MP10, KRC, Captain Toad, Tipping Stars etc. NA Nintendo fans are trained to not want a $60 game.
After word gets out and the reviews hit, I can't imagine the game not doing great. And with Nintendo legs I wouldn't be shocked in the least if people who were holding out for Zelda U pick up Splatoon because they heard it was the Mario Kart of shooters.
