Some of you guys desparaging the comfort of the controller make me think you actually haven't spent a good deal of time with it. It is by far one of the most comfortable controllers ever made. Certainly it is true that not even Nintendo have put the controller to as good of use as they did with the Wiimote in WiiSports, but that's more about implementation and not a defect in the device.

In addition to the great comfort the controllers provides, it provides easy access to in-game maps and inventory, the ability to interact with your tv (power/volume), as well as providing you with an alternate display.

I feel like so many people like to talk crap about the controller from a system wars perspective, rather than from a "what's good for gaming" perspective. Don't worry...Nintendo and its tablet controller aren't going to win the gen. They're not going to change gaming as you know it (like they did with the Wii!). So quit hating just because you don't want to see that horse win the race. It's already been ran, and the WiiU is now being processed into dog food.

Some people just don't like it. I spent 8 weeks with it (my sisters boyfriend lived with us and he brought his Wii U with him) and I just couldn't get into it. It's not uncomfortable but I wouldn't call it comfortable at all.

And if 8 weeks is too short of a time then that's a point all on it's own.

8 weeks is time enough to know.  I'm definitely not saying that people can't find it uncomfortable.  I'm just saying that the console wars have inspired more detractors than people actually experiencing and spending quality time with the controller.
