Yes games actually depend on userbase. Comparing a 9mil console to a 100mil obviously going to make a difference. There is a reason why GCN/WiiU Share similar sales in franchises.

Its not always the case but the difference is way to big, i can see if WiiU was a 30mil-40mil seller, but its a measly 10mil. MK8 is the lowest currently selling MK in the franchise, and we allknow why.

You didn't answer my question, so i'll answer it for you. MK is more popular than DK (in sales), so why isnt the best selling game on wiiu higher than DKC Returns? Because of the install base.

MK is bigger than SSB right? If so why isnt MK8 higher than SSBB? Oh because of the install base.
