They've been getting much more expensive with every passing generation. The guys at Gamefreak aren't just some passionless money making machine that only cares about the bottom line.

Even then. There's an argument to be made that such a game could make them even more money. Like GTA V amounts of money. If any frachise is big enough, it's Pokemon.

its really one of the only way i can imagine nintendo coult still save the wii u. Thats why i cant understand they throw away this potential with releasing XBX instead of the pokemon game. 


Really, a Pokemon game with a 400m^2 big open world (skyrim is 50m^2). It would do sooo well. Beeing able to fly on urself in the whole world on pokemon like charizard. This really would save the wii u. But XBX (which does mostly the same -> game mechanics whise) wont help the wii u much at all. How many wii us does it sell in japan first week? 50k? Nothing....
