Out of most Wii games that are currently on the market, there are only a few games I feel are worth $50: Zelda, Mario Party, and Wii Sports, maybe SSX Blur.
Who cares if it's a "tech demo" (debatable)? It has more replayability than basically any other Wii game right now. If you pick up and play Wii Sports even once a week since launch, I'd say it's definitely worth $50.
Personally, I'd say it's not a tech demo...it's a sports game. I mean...what makes a videogame a "tech demo" anyway? Because it's the first of its kind? I think it's stupid to denounce a whole game just because you think it's Nintendo just "testing out its machine."
Maybe I'll start calling Lair a "tech demo." It's basically the same argument.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
