Considering how much freedom he got from Nintendo (there was an interview some time ago where he was asked how he felt about suddenly having to work for Nintendo instead of THQ, where he said he feared Nintendo would change a lot of things. Instead, he got told to do whatever he likes with devil's third, just had to give his best), I wouldn't be surprised if he would agree to work with Nintendo again in near future, maybe even for a sucessor to his game.
