No its not, anyway the Seahawk where a AFC team for most of their existence.  The lowest point for the AFC was when the Bills lost four Super Bowls in a row but since then its actually has a been a slightly better league then the NFC.  Plus the NFC also has a team that lost four in the Vikings.

No they are not the recent Super Bowl pretty much proofed that.  Plus the AFC is a lot better when it comes to playing defense.  Also you must be watching a different leage the Panthers where terrible and still made the playoffs.  They had at least five teams in the AFC that where better then the Panthers that didn't make it to the playoffs.
