I don't think anyone on these forums falls into that category....
And I don't think any of the non-gamer casuals fall into either....
Honestly, most people probably buy the Wii because of WiiSports. They buy it because of the WiiSports experience. I'm not saying that that is all they will play, but WiiSports epitomizes what the Wii is about. Seriosuly, just look at the Guitar Hero craze. If people are willing to spend $100 for a game and a guitar controller, $250 for a new console that offers just as zany an experience is a no brainer.
But no....people are not buying them to be cool. TBH....to most people in the gaming world Wii purchase = -75 points.
