There are commercials for the Wii U all the time here in germany! Every time my son watches cartoons on Disney Channel or something I see ads for the Wii U between 3DS spots (seriously, it's like half of the Disney Channel commercials in germany are by Nintendo, I'm not kidding). Granted, I don't see those on other channels, but there is definitely marketing for the Wii U going on.
