Who honestly thinks of Amiibo as a feature that validates the Nintendo experience? Also there is no chance of the Wii U version outselling the PS4 version, I can't even think of any third party game that has ever done that, even Rayman Legends which was highly advertised on the Wii U early on, and released on the PS3 first so it was late on PS4 and many Sony gamers already bought it, still sold more on PS4. And another thing Nintendo is obviously gonna fail to keep this amiibo in stock which means less DLC sales for the developer. |
Why did you see so many people trying to push their characters to end up on Smash? Not just the publicity, but because they want to be a part of the Nintendo experience. If their character gets into Smash they also get an Amiibo. An Amiibo that people will lust after because it will be rare.
And yes, I do think it will sell better on Wii U. I think that this game will most likely end up being given away as a free PS+ game when no one buys it for PS4.
