Also, SMT x FE will b e 2016 for the west. However, it was stated it was Winter 2015 for Japan.

I made an edit, because I realized it could still make it for 2015, so that would be a holiday release.

Localization takes a long time and with such a big game, I don't think they are able to release it so soon.

With SMTxFE being in 2016, it could allow for another Wii U game to be squeezed into holiday 2015, assuming that Star Fox is being released this year.

It does take a long time. However, (assuming an August release date and they've been working on localization since December at the earliest) 7 months + them saying localization is going very well, I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume it won't release any later than sept. They would not wait till 2016 to release and with Star Fox U for the holidays (plus maybe an unnanounced title, like Captain Toad which was revealed at E3 and released in december) I doubt it'll be released in the holidays.

Yeah, I'm assuming that Star Fox is still being released in holiday 2015, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Xenoblade can't be either...

It's very unlikely they would release their two most anticipated titles of 2015 for the Holidays (novem to dec). As in so close together.
