The phone he uses (that frankly nobody gives a fuck about and wont even notice) is more important than the actor and the franchise?  If you say so....

No.  What would be really cry baby and pathetic would be firing the guy for not wanting to use a certain phone.

What would be incompetenet would be not to have product placement tied down at the stage the movie was signed off.

What would you have done given he was free to choose any of the offers?  I know what I would have done.

 

Insulting the company you make the movie for, is good enough reason for that company to find a new actor for the next James Bond for the next movie. James Bond should use a HTC though since that is partly british, but thats none of my business.
