Not sure if your using it as an example only, but if not how come you dont think this game is worth $60? (or $40 for the fact of SSB 3DS :)

---

Because I don't enjoy playing it. Period. Why would I pay $60  or $40 for something I don't enjoy? Can you not imagine why people might not be willing to pay $40-$60 for something? It isn't worth $60 to me. In the meantime I'd be more than willing to pay much more than $60 for Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain, but you'd probably think that's lunacy.

It's all a matter of preferance.

Also, the amount of Nintendo apologists in the thread is astounding. 90% of this thread of "DLC is awful, and horrible, and ruining the industry. Ohh wait - Nitendo does it too! DLC is still awful,  except when Nintendo does it! They do it right in every instance! Value!"

It's pathetic. Look here folks. The value of DLC is relative to those who want the content of said DLC. Period. You might think Activision are scam artists for charging $15 for a few maps, but their sales say otherwise. If it wasn't worth $15, no one would buy it! There are people that would happily pay more than that for the experience they get from it, because they see value in that. They are not wrong by thinking that way any more than you are for paying $12-$15 for little plastic figures with an NFC tag in them that quite literally cost less than $2 to manufacture, package, and ship to your door.

Don't pretend almost all of you defending Nintendo don't have at least a half a dozen amiibos. It's no different, no matter how much cognitive dissonance in your head tells you otherwise.

lol, now i just feel bad 4 yah.... :-/

I think its funny when people group every nintendo fan together, and act like we solely think nintendo cando no wrong. Many of us calledc FE Awakening one of the best games on 3ds but criticise it for having overly expensive dlc prices just to name 1 example.

As for the "worth" argument, if you dont like a game, thats fine but saying its not worth "$??" because you dont play it is a bit silly. FFXV+XCX somebody might not like because of the battle system/whatever but to say it isnt worth $60 because you dont like it is a bit silly.

Anywayzzzz yeah all nintendo fans are [insert something], all NINTENDO FANS..... ALL!!!!!!!! :0

He has different tastes than me! How foolish is that? I feel bad for the guy. Give me a break. I see the appeal, it's just not my taste. Awful, I know!

My argument is that Nintendo fans (not all) tend to be heavy Nintendo apologists. They will scathe companies for acting a certain way, and defend Nintendo for nearly the exact same behavior. DLC is DLC. You might find Nintendo's version a bit more palatable thus far (and that mostly comes from the appeal the games and the DLC has for you) but that doesn't make it any "less bad".

My argument about worth is not a bit silly. Have you ever seen a game come out, thought about buying it, but waiting until it was on sale for a lower price before buying it? Congrats! Unless you were unable to afford it at the time, you've just voted with your wallet that that game you just purchased was not worth the release price to you, because otherwise you would have bought it at release.  I don't like Smash Bros. Assuming I had a Wii U, and someone offered me Smash Bros Wii U for $20, I would not buy it off them, because it is not worth $20 to me. What's so hard to understand? Why does this seem silly to you?
