http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=195704&page=1 This is your PSVita lifetime prediction, 17,300,000. Now, i seriusly don't know how you have rising this prediction to 18-20M ( http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=7174762 ) and now at 22,000,000...
is Vita selling better than your expect? As for now seem NO. You predict Vita to be up in Japan. As for now Vita is down by 25%... for a comparation, 3DS is down by 8%, a console with one year more old.
Seem that 3DS have even better legs than Vita. You predict 3DS to be down YOY, when actually is massive up globally, for not talk about US, and the same for Wii U, up YOY as for now. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=7172533 No offense, but seem irrealistic all considering... you don't think?
Now, you predict Vita to sell 3,500,000 this year for sell a total of 17,300,000 lifetime... Now your prediction is rise to 22,000,000. What is your Vita prediction for this year? 4,000,000? 5,000,000!?!?!??!
Vita will be lucky if will sell equal to last year (under 2,500,000). And don't talk about the Vita undertracked... because ioi have adjustment the numbers.
Now, that is how much MUST sell for break 22,000,000: 2015: 4,000,000 2016: 3,500,000 2017: 2,500,000 2018: 1,000,000 2019/2020: other sales Vita is not going to live until 2019/2020, it will probabily become the year of PS5 released, and considering the PSVita sales level, this sales are not going to happen.
You predict PSVita above GC lifetime... You want seriusly make a comparation GC VS PSVita?
Wii U is currently above PSVita in the same time (Vita is above WiiU LT because is released 10 month before in US/EU, and one year in Japan), GameCube actually massacre Wii U in sales, so... you know...
Vita at +20,000,000 sold is not a realistic prediction. |
My prediction is 4 months old. 17M is a minimum, but 22M are possible imo.
ioi adjusted numbers? NO! We know that PSP / Vita shipped 3.5M in 2014 and that PSP got discontinued in 2014, Vita sales should be at least > 2.5M in 2014. Vita had a great Japan start in 2014, it is normal that it is down right now. Just wait, big games like Persona or KanColle are incoming!
