Well Worse case scenario is 3DS selling an avg of 74k per month for the next 7 months (end of Oct) to be flat YoY with 2014 before the holidays.

2014 holidays did 1.32mil (Nov:510k+Dec:810k), so if 2015 did half of that, that means it sold 660k in the holidays adding the worse case scenario above and we have it at 1.91mil for 2015. (2014 had 2.57mil)

Worse case is 3ds down 25% YoY. That is pretty damn good no matter what spin anyone can say. Especially when its, I repeat "Worse Case Scenario"

Looks like Nintendo was right in releasing that new version of the 3DS. Who knows how low sales would have been without it this year for the 3DS.

Well, 3DS have sold 74,000 in January 2015 VS 93,000 of 2014.

Withouth the new version, 3DS was probabily at 85,000/90,000 in January NPD, so, i don't think that withouth the new version the sales can dropped hard.

But with the new version, 3DS will easy increase by a lot in the US, and not only...
