Withouth the launch month, March 2015 is the best March NPD for 3DS.

Difficult to say - we must wait for the effect of the N3DS to pass.

Well Worse case scenario is 3DS selling an avg of 74k per month for the next 7 months (end of Oct) to be flat YoY with 2014 before the holidays.

2014 holidays did 1.32mil (Nov:510k+Dec:810k), so if 2015 did half of that, that means it sold 660k in the holidays adding the worse case scenario above and we have it at 1.91mil for 2015. (2014 had 2.57mil)

Worse case is 3ds down 25% YoY. That is pretty damn good no matter what spin anyone can say. Especially when its, I repeat "Worse Case Scenario"
