Yep, seem to be dying.

The only reason it is up this year, is the release of the new version.    It's not selling 30K weekly anymore like it did until 2014.

 

Funny because out of the 15 weeks this year so far, 2 weeks were below 30k, of which it was Week12+15 and sold 28.7k and 26.8k respectively which is practically 30k. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=198117&page=1

The avg weekly sales so far in 2015 are 45k atm with 680k+ 3ds's sold, and if 3ds managed a 25k weekly avg for the rest of the year, it would mean 3ds sold around 1.5mil. (thats actually low balling it because im counting the holiday with it at 25k)

If 1.5mil is dying, what do you literally call Japan? Vita best years were 1.1mil (2013+2014) each, so nope. PS4 might hit 2-3 years over 1.5mil for example. (maybe like 2mil going by my opinion).

Also can we stop with the new version? Its just an upgrade, been out for 6 months so the effect isnt suppose to be as big as some think, 1 niche exclusive, etc...

 

That said 3DS is doing "WELL", Look at the line up it had from Jan-March....
