Will Pokémon 4th gen remake released for 3DS or NX?

Well its not impossible, 2 things need to be 1. NX is a HH and 2. has to release in 2016 (which would be no earlier than Fall 2016).

That said Gamefreak makes the games and not Nintendo, they do things on their own schedule.

Lets look at DS/3DS

~Pokemon Emerald (Sept 2004)

~Pokemon DP (Sept 2006)

~Pokemon Platinum

~Pokemon HGSS

~Pokemon BW (Sept 2010)

*3DS Released (Feb 2011)

~Pokemon BW2 (July 2012)

~Pokemon XY (Oct 2013)

~Pokemon ORAS (Nov 2014)

 

In order for your prediction to come true, Pokemon Z needs to come out this year, if it doesn't than it definitely means no pokemon NX launch.

My guess is Pokemon XY2/Z is coming out 2016 Summer, right before NX Holiday Launch with Gen 7 coming 2017 holiday
