I like Kojima as a game developer, but I was never truly into Metal Gear. Except the third and Portable Ops I never managed to get myself finishing them. It is sad to see him leave a company after he spent almost 30 years there.
BUT we do not have the whole story. Maybe Kojima simply felt that he is the star who is running the show? Maybe he went mad? Maybe he actually committed a crime and Konami wants to be clear of him? We do not know.
Anyways, hoping for the best for both him and Konami.
