Why this guy has a point, but ultimately does not speak for Youtubers and overall youtube.
- Up and coming Youtubers. They will rise to the occassion. Perhaps better Youtube videos. Aren't you tired of the "talk to the camera" video.
- Youtube a real job. Maybe a real job, but until you get from bottom tier, to mid tier, to top tier, find a part time job. Ask all top youtubers and they'll tell you they had part time jobs until they when full Youtube. But that's normal, it's call life.
- Nintendo doesn't want to stop people criticizing them, they want to stop people who share revenue with them to stop. They know they can't stop people from talking smack, they just want their partners to stay cool with them.
- Approved by Nintendo. Nintendo's seal of approval means something. Do you really think Nintendo wants you to publish and approve something that has the words, "Ass, Fuck'ed up."
- "Integrity" Really, you're doing this for money. Before people knew you can make money off youtube, they did this for the art. People posted anime, movies, music, all for free. If you're trying to live on youtube, don't shit on a bigger company like Nintendo for getting more money, which you are trying to do.
- This is an olive branch. Better than no money. Better then them just pulling your video. Not perfect, but this is an olive branch for possible better things. Youtubers, you're being spoiled, 2008 Nintendo wasn't this cool.
- This doesn't affect this guy, just a pundit puting up his 2 cents for more revenue that his 2 million subscribers can help him make more money.
- Nintendo can change their model arbitrarily: That does not mean Nintendo will only do bad. They can either change it to a better deal or a worst.
- He loves us, but fuck the ones who disagree, but he loves us all anyways. Like Jesus.
- Strong willed. Just lauhable.
